Research the Company: Researching the company is also one crucial thing to do before going for an interview. If you can fully get all it takes, you can be able to channel all you’ve gotten that relates to what’s needed and even things that weren’t required but will be very helpful in the job too. The purpose of studying the job description is to help you fully understand the requirements, needed experience(s), skills needed for the job. In fact, not only will it be very important to fully study and understand the job description to give a perfect answer to why should we hire you question, but It also helps in answering questions like – Tell me about yourself? What motivates you? How would you describe yourself? Etc. Study the job description: This is one important thing to take note of before answering why should we hire you in an interview. But if the candidate he recommends doesn’t seem to do well in the job, he is considered dull and also risks losing his/her job. If he/she manages to get a good candidate who fits in well and can deliver, the interviewer will be compensated (probably in cash or in-kind). Trying to get the best candidate can be very difficult especially when there will be lots of applicants for the job. The winning candidate(s) are the ones who are not just very qualified but are confident enough to convince the interviewer when asked “why should we hire you in the interview?” Most candidates who are allowed to be interviewed are qualified ones that meet the normal requirements for the position. Interviewers are interested in hiring only the best candidate. However the question is asked, you should be prepared to nail the question.
